Professor Found A Forever Home |
![]() Professor was saved by AFS before he was euthanized in a Georgia shelter. This is what the Professor's family had to say about him: The Professor (yes, we're keeping that as his name) has continued to bring joy to our home. Like your previous email stated he is a funny little man. Ed and I often comment on how human his face can look at times, almost like he's got the soul of a little old man inside of him! He has a couple of bad habits that we continue to work with him on. We have found that he has a propensity to "go on the lam" if we're not careful when opening a door. Once he wriggled out of his leash when I had him out so now he wears a harness. Unfortunately, (for him) it's Stormy's old harness so it's hot pink. Hopefully he's not feeling gender confused. LOL! We plan to get him a more masculine color sometime this week. His other bad habit is that sometimes he gets so distracted by squirrels, lawn mowers, neighbors, birds, etc. that he doesn't do all of his business (#2) when he goes out. If we don't keep an eye on him when he comes back inside then he will do his business in the living room but he's making progress. None of his unfortunate habits can't be worked with so we're happy about that. Overall, he's been a great addition to our family and gets along famously with Stormey. They're best buddies! Attached you'll find a couple of pictures of Professor sporting the pink harness. He's such a loving and good boy - we cannot believe our luck in finding him. Thank you again for everything! |
