Sebastian is Saved

Poor Sebastian's owner died and his whole world was turned upside down. His owner's granddaughter took great care of him but wanted more of a life for him than her hectic schedule would allow. Thats where AFS came in and helped place Sebastian into his new loving home with Penny & Rick. They adore Sebastian and he is thriving living the good life with them!

Ashley is Loved By Her New Pet Parents

This is what Ashleys parents had to say: After our last Greyhound passed away we were without a dog for 3 years. Now that my husband has retired, we felt it was time. So, I pulled up the Petfinder.com web site and started looking at dogs. I was able to type in a size of dog and a search radius for a shelter near our home. I spotted Ashley and it was love at first site!! She had been found wandering a dirt road and taken to a shelter. From that shelter, she had been adopted. Circumstances made it impossible for her new owner to keep her and after a year, Ashley was returned to the same shelter. My heart broke to think of how painful that must have been for both dog and owner. She has been with us for 3 months now and has changed our life in the most positive ways. The care and devotion that her foster mom had given to her while at the shelter is evident in how well mannered she is. Ashley has, at long last found her forever home.

Paige, an Orphaned Puppy Finds Her Way Home

Meet Paige, one of a litter of 8 puppies whose mom was hit by a car at just 17 days old. The litter was taken in by Valerie, their foster mom at AFS. She kept them until they were ready for adoption. Paige's new family reports she is doing great and growing like a weed! We are so happy for you Paige!
